Notice through the Property Owner Name Change Form must be submitted to MBS within 3 months from the date of sale or transfer of ownership of the property by the seller and buyer.

This action is important to ensure that the property owner’s name and address records are current, so that billing can be sent to the owner effectively and accurately.

  • Latest Copy of Ownership Title (Deed) or
  • Official Search or
  • Private Search
  • Copy of Sale and Purchase Agreement (if applicable)
  • Copy of Auction Declaration (if applicable)
  • Copy of Death Certificate (if the transfer is due to death)
  • Copy of Owner’s Identification Card
  • Copy of SSM (if the buyer is a company)
  • Copy of payment receipt for the ownership transfer fee (RM20.00)
