Closing Ceremony of GoGreen Program: “KNOW GREEN ARCHITECTURE”

Nilai, 22 September 2025 – Ir. Ts. Br. Mohd Kamal bin Mohd Yusof, Secretary of Seremban City Council, officiated the Closing Ceremony of the GoGreen Program: “Know Green Architecture,” held at SMK Dato Mohd Said, Nilai. The program, organized by the Building Control Department, was carried out in collaboration with TRX City Sdn Bhd (TRX) and Green Building Index (GBI). The ceremony was also attended by Tn. Hj. Mohd Sohimi bin Abdul Halim, Principal of SMK Dato Mohd Said, Heads of Departments along with students and teachers of SMK Dato Mohd Said, Nilai. Also present were MBS Heads of Departments, Unit Heads, and officers. A total of 25 students participated in the program. Five groups of students showcased Informative & Creative Collages in the form of Presentation Boards, and the top three groups presented their work in front of the MBS Secretary and attendees. To conclude the event, the MBS Secretary was pleased to present prizes to the winners and souvenirs to the school. The Council extends its deepest appreciation and gratitude to TRX City Sdn Bhd (TRX), Green Building Index (GBI), and SMK Dato Mohd Said for their cooperation and commitment in making this program a success. MBS hopes that this program will provide students with exposure to the importance of incorporating green elements in architecture, which positively impacts the environment, while also introducing them to the concepts of green architecture and sustainable design such as active and passive design strategies, energy efficiency, and the use of renewable materials in enhancing building comfort and ensuring overall environmental sustainability.
