MBS MAYOR RECEIVES CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION FOR BUREAUCRATIC RED TAPE REFORM (RKB) FROM THE CHIEF SECRETARY TO THE GOVERNMENT

Nilai, 23 August 2025 – Seremban City Council (MBS) has been awarded the Certificate of Appreciation for Bureaucratic Red Tape Reform (RKB) for its project MBS Fast Lane For You (FLY). The certificate was presented by Tan Sri Shamsul Azri bin Abu Bakar, Chief Secretary to the Government, to YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of MBS. The MBS FLY project is an initiative that accelerates the approval process for construction permits and operational licenses for investors, reducing the time frame from 12 months to just 3 months. The award ceremony was held during the MADANI Rakyat 2025 Negeri Sembilan Program, officiated by YAB Datuk Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, together with YAB Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Aminuddin bin Harun, Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan; YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital; Tan Sri Shamsul Azri bin Abu Bakar, Chief Secretary to the Government; and YB Dato’ Mohd Zafir bin Ibrahim, State Secretary of Negeri Sembilan. Also present were members of the Negeri Sembilan State Executive Council, Federal, State and District Department Heads, as well as Heads of Units from MBS. Congratulations and well done to MBS!
