TECHNICAL WORKING VISIT OF SEREMBAN CITY COUNCIL TO KOTA KINABALU CITY HALL, SABAH

Sabah, 10 September 2025 – The Seremban City Council, led by YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Ts. Haji Masri bin Baharuddin, Mayor of Seremban City Council, conducted a Technical Working Visit to Kota Kinabalu City Hall, Sabah. The purpose of this visit was to gain knowledge sharing in respective fields, particularly in the context of licensing and the organization of micro-entrepreneur hawkers. In addition, the visit also aimed to learn from DBKK’s experiences in addressing issues and challenges related to the successful organization of popular markets in the area. YBhg. Dato’ Sri Dr. Haji Sabin Samitah, JP, Mayor of Kota Kinabalu City, welcomed a delegation of 36 representatives from the Seremban City Council, consisting of MBS Councillors as well as representatives from the Seremban District Police Headquarters, Seremban District Health Office, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, and internal MBS departments. MBS hopes that this bilateral cooperation can be continued in the future and bring mutual benefits to both Local Authorities.
